Grandma’s Hat
I can just imagine someone naming this iris thinking of their beloved Grandma and the hats she used to wear. This bitone purple with a dark spot on the falls is called Grandma’s Hat, hybridized by Mahood in 1955. It gets 6.5 inches tall as a miniature dwarf bearded Iris.
Blooming now in Southwest Missouri.
